É uma boa peça, mas confesso que fiquei perdida em algumas partes da história.
Os personagens principais são gêmeos.
Os erros a que se refere o título são enganos provocados pelas pessoas que conversam alternadamente com um gêmeo e o outro, sem saber que estão falando com pessoas diferentes.
Gerando assim, uma grande confusão.

A comédia dos erros é tida pelos pesquisadores como a primeira peça de Shakespeare, com sua estréia nos palcos tendo ocorrido provavelmente em 1594.
