Adoreiiii esse conto de Mary Shelley!! Ele trata sobre as consequências do egoísmo, vaidade e ganância.

Guido é um egoísta que perde tudo devido à sua ganância, mas ao se deparar com as consequências de suas escolhas, ele é forçado a refletir sobre elas e a buscar uma “recuperação” (será que ele consegue? Rsrs).

A troca de corpo entre o protagonista Guido e o estranho anão serve como uma metáfora para as escolhas que moldam o nosso caráter. Nos questionamos até que ponto aparência e o poder mudam as pessoas.

Eu li o conto na edição da Darkside e também ouvi o audiobook no YouTube (recomendo demais, canal Conto um Conto).

Dos 4 que li, esse foi o meu segundo favorito. :)
