Pénélope Bagieu
Nasceu em Paris, em 1982. Estudou cinema de animação na Ensad e fez uma passagem pela Central Saint Martins de Londres. De volta a Paris, cria em 2007 o Ma vie est tout à fait fascinante [Minha vida é realmente fascinante], um blog ilustrado no qual expõe sua vida cotidiana com um humor e uma graça que acertam no alvo. Com a publicação do blog em forma de livro, seu sucesso se expande para as livrarias, e Pénélope passa a fazer diversas ilustrações editoriais, trabalha para grandes campanhas publicitárias, desenha as aventuras de Joséphine e assina até uma coleção de lingerie. Em todos os trabalhos, Bagieu tem sempre uma maneira muito pessoal de dialogar com sua época sem se deixar enganar por ela. Uma morte horrível é sua primeira narrativa longa.
