O planeta Terra foi invadida por extra terrestres que são hostis, a maioria da população foi dizimada, aqueles que sobreviveram estão em sua maioria abrigados em instalações secretas que fornecem abrigo e segurança com grupos treinados que saem em busca de sobreviventes e para lutar contra os Raptor. Um desses grupos é o Hell Squad, conhecido como esquadrão infernal comandado por Marcus. O seu objetivo é resgatar o maior número de sobreviventes e matar o maior número de extra terrestres. Elle é a oficial de comunicação da equipe, ela é os olhos da equipe fora das instalações ela tmbm tem uma queda pelo guerreiro Marcus. Ele tmbm se sente atraído por ela mas a guerra e tudo que ele passou o fez sentir que não merece um amor. É um livro rápido de ser lido, com uma história sem muito drama, com ação e romance.
