"A Viagem ao Centro da Terra" é narrada por Axel Lidenbrock, sobrinho de Otto Lidenbrock - professor e mineralogista alemão, que, após descobrir uma mensagem secreta em um livro antigo, decide seguir as pistas e parte em uma viagem ao núcleo da Terra.
Recheado de ação, descobertas fantásticas, muito perigo e situações altamente irreais, o livro é muito bom.
Haja imaginação pra pensar em florestas de cogumelos gigantes, oceanos subterrâneos onde há luz e chuva (?!), monstros aquáticos gigantes vivendo tranquilamente quilômetros abaixo de nossos pés.
Sem falar no desfecho final, impossível mas, satisfatório.
