Borrowing Blue é o livro de apresentação da série Made Marian e, como tal, traz toda a família Marian, que é caótica e confusa, mas se apoia e luta pelos seus. Achei, no entanto, que o drama que alguns, se não todos, os integrantes da família Marian, assim como da família de Tristan, trazem para a história é muitas vezes exagerado. Pelo menos para este livro. Tristan e Blue tem uma química excelente e se apaixonam à primeira vista, no entanto, as cenas 🔞 são muitas e repetitivas (confesso que pulei várias). Apesar disso, eles são muito fofos um com o outro, se apoiando e entendendo suas ações. Já as mulheres da história são retratadas de modo bem clichê, quase como vilã (como no caso de Sheila, ex-esposa de Tristan).
