Cal é obrigado pela sua avó a gerir um restaurante da familia que está em falência.
Ele decide então contratar a melhor Chef da cidade, Penny, a sua ex-esposa.
Depois de chegarem q um acordo decidem começar a trabalhar juntos, mas Penny esconde um segredo que o fará repensar em tudo o que poderiam ter vivido juntos.
A história é muito engraçada, de inicio este casal é tipo gato e rato, a medir forças enquanto recuperam a vida daquele restaurante.
Mas é inevitavel a atração, e Cal é realmente amoroso com Penny.
Contudo existem muitos segredos, coisas do passado que fizeram com que o casamento terminasse, e atuais, que podem pôr em causa todo o recomeço.
