"Ser Preto é necessário, mas não suficiente"

Faz bastante tempo que não faço resenha dos livros que leio. muito por conta da Universidade, as pressões e ansiedades que envolvem ser um estudante Preto em uma Universidade Federal. faço parte do movimento Preto a algum tempo e obviamente, lembrando de Nilma Lino Gomes, construo saberes nestes processos de emancipação que estou envolvido. o movimento Preto é educador. Rap Brown, escreve esse livro em 1968, de forma autobiográfica com percepções suas sobre o movimento negro americano do qual o mesmo estava fortemente envolvido. é um livro pesado, necessário e com criticas a alguns militantes de estante ou que estão a todo tempo flertando com o liberalismo branco.
além de que adquiri este livro através de um Coletivo Preto Pan-Africanista que realizou a tradução, é muito importante adquirir livros de organizações como esta. é muito importante ler autores como Rap Brown, obviamente li na versão em português. termino aqui com uma das frases de Rap que diz: "Ser Preto é necessário, mas não suficiente". Principalmente quando queremos uma real emancipação para o povo Preto, não apenas o privilégio de alguns poucos, seguimos....
