Very well written and carefully detailed, Lies kept me invested from the beginning until the last page. I just couldn't put the book down. Things always could get worse for Joe Lynch, who has been accused of a crime that he is sure he hasn't committed (or has he? that's the interesting thing about the story, you don't know if Joe, also the narrator, is as clueless as he appears to be), and if you are a curious reader like me, you probably will want to find out what secrets these two families are hiding. What are the lies? I'm surprised at how emotionally invested I was in this story, how I was eagerly devouring the pages, and how the end caught me off guard. Thanks to NetGalley for my copy for an honest review. Readers are not going to be disappointed with this thriller, that would also make an exciting movie one day, who knows.
