Castle Rock is a small town, where word gets around quickly. Li esse livro pelo kindle, comprei uma promoção de ebooks em inglês do King e quando eu ficava cansada ouvia o audiobook que eu encontrei no youtube (provavelmente ilegal).

Nesse livro encontramos um homem com um problema de saúde misterioso que acaba conseguindo reunir um grupo de amigos bastante improváveis e ajuda alguns moradores de Castle Rock a superar as diferenças (e prconceitos).

É um livro legal, tem potencial mas poderia ser melhor, achei os primeiros capítulos com as pessoas comentando sobre o relacionamento homossexual das personagens meio pesado e me deu nojo mesmo eu sabendo que essa é a realidade que várias pessoas acreditam.

Achei legal que todos construiram uma amizade e que eles acabaram ultrapassando seus preconceitos e se tornaram um grupo mas a forma como eles superaram as diferenças foi pouquissimo trabalhada (talvez até seja uma crítica social pois vários preconceitos são quebrados dessa forma: conversa e compreensão) mas mesmo assim achei que faltou algo.

Algo positivo a se pontuar nesse livro é que tem várias frases legais sobre amor, amizade e algumas críticas sociais que são bem comuns do King (principalmente se você acompanha ele no twitter/x).

Em resumo, é um livro legal e eu entendo a mensagem e as críticas que ele quer passar mas não gostei da forma que ele construiu a história! :D
