eu passei seis meses lendo esse livro (ou dois meses com um intervalo de quatro entre esses dois). valeu a pena. cada noite lendo até de madrugada, cada vez que eu tive que procurar uma palavra no tradutor, cada lágrima que eu derramei lendo. foi um dos mais inesquecíveis livros que eu já li e fico feliz que eu tenha escolhido esse para ser meu primeiro livro em inglês.
no fim, esse livro é escrito para todos que já se sentiram silenciados, que já ouviram que não deveriam fazer a coisa certa, e mesmo assim continuaram lutando porque escolheram algo além da inércia. esse livro é para todos os que querem ser as rosas que crescem no concreto.
