'Land of the Beautiful Dead' é um reconto de 'A Bela e a Fera' e, tendo esse propósito, considero que foi uma ótima história. O problema é que minha leitura durou mais de um ano, e de lá para cá muito do que senti enquanto lia foi se perdendo. Terminei de lê-lo por pura perseverança de ter o livro como concluído. O sentimento ao finalizá-lo não foi o mesmo do decorrer da leitura, mas tendo em vista algumas lembranças enquanto lia, foi uma leitura prazerosa. Poderia ter sido uma obra menor, no entanto.
