Samanta Schweblin
Samanta Schweblin nasceu em Buenos Aires, em 1978. Formou-se em cinema pela Universidad de Buenos Aires. Em 2001, ganhou os prêmios Fondo Nacional de las Artes e Haroldo Conti, ambos na Argentina, por seu primeiro livro, "El Núcleo del Disturbio". Em 2008, foi a vez de "Pássaros na Boca" ser agraciado com o prêmio Casa de las Américas. Seus contos, traduzidos para o alemão, inglês, holandês, húngaro, italiano, francês, sueco e sérvio, apareceram em diversas publicações e antologias. Em 2010, Samanta foi apontada pela revista literária Granta como uma revelação entre os melhores escritores jovens de língua espanhola.
