Resenhas (...) 85 - Todos de Anthony Buckeridge (...) 'Olha, nunca li nada tão engraçado. Gostei tanto que li todos dessa série Johnny que não se esgota nessa foto que peguei na web. São livros pequenininhos que encontramos hoje em sebos por menos de 5 reais. A história sempre se dá em um colégio interno tendo Johnny como personagem principal que sempre está acompanhado de Edison, um menino tímido mas que acaba se metendo em várias enrascadas junto com Johnny, seu melhor amigo. Anthony Buckeridge é uma grande referência dos livros de colégio interno. A série foi originariamente um programa de rádio, posteriormente seriado da TV britânica. . .

[About the Author]: Born in 1912, Anthony Buckeridge was sent to boarding school in Sussex at the age of eight. He went on to university before working as a tutor in a preparatory school, and later became a fireman during the Second World War. Buckeridge was the first writer to use prep schools as a setting for his stories and, as such, is the creator of the infamous Jennings. The ‘Jennings’ titles have sold over six million books worldwide.
