Este não é um livro antigo, e o plano de fundo de machismo, um mundo onde mulheres têm direito a praticamente nada é muito usado na literatura no geral, e ainda assim fiquei cativada e orgulhosa por saber que as mulheres que lutaram para terem os direitos que temos hoje, ainda são uma inspiração não apenas na ficção, mas também na vida real e atual.

Nomi e Serina retumbam empoderamento, e é lindo e aflitivo assistir a luta delas pela igualdade e justiça. Assim como em Grace and Fury, este não é um livro leve, pelo contrário; fiquei extremamente tensa durante toda a leitura, com exceção de intervalos curtíssimos de alívio.

Amei demais a duologia, recomendo fortemente!
