One of the most profitable studies for the believer, outside of the Bible itself, is the study of the New Testament Church throughout history. Volume one describes both true and false Christianity from the Resurrection to the Reformation. It documents the rise of the anti-scriptural Roman Catholic religious system and its persecution of “heretics” who remained loyal to the Bible throughout the Dark Ages. Special attention is paid to the history of the Biblical text as the “constitution for the churches.” Dr. Ruckman also gives his unique perspective on the cause and progress of apostasy in the Body of Christ.
