Ler Tropic of Cancer foi como entrar na cabeça de alguém que decidiu viver sem disfarces. A escrita é caótica, às vezes brilhante, às vezes cansativa. Não há lição moral, só presença, corpo e consciência. É um livro que incomoda mais do que agrada, e talvez seja exatamente esse o ponto.
