Um bom livro!

O livro é o primeiro da série intitulada Genevieve Lenard. Genevieve é nossa personagem principal, uma especialista mundialmente reconhecida por suas habilidades com linguagem corporal. Ela trabalha em uma empresa de seguros, investigando as reivindicações feitas. Mas ela não investiga assassinatos. Então, quando seu chefe pede para que ela ajude um amigo dele a investigar a morte de uma jovem artista, sua mente autista se rebela contra a mudança.

Sim, o que torna Genevieve diferente de outros personagens que já li, é o fato dela ter autismo de alto funcionamento, o que a faz ser imensamente inteligente, mas com poucas habilidades sociais (ela não suporta ser tocada, por exemplo), não consegue entender sarcasmo e tem mania de limpeza. Todas essas características desse tipo de autismo são bem retratadas no livro e geram alguns momentos cômicos na história.
