Viemos para esquecer (literalmente...)

Infelizmente não supriu as expectativas, tive alguns problemas de me aperfeiçoar à história, um início um pouco enrolado, que não prende o leitor... você apenas fica se perguntando o porquê da protagonista estar te contando sobre o passado, mas chega a um momento que cansa, porque não tem uma explicação...ela fica apenas: "ahh minha irmã era assim", "ah eu e Luke nos conhecemos assado", e daí esses capítulos são alternado com os do presente, nos quais a Katie faz um mistério todo, e bem no fim, você só fica "Ah, era isso".

Além de, eu não sei dizer se o jeito que o clímax da história foi tratado me agradou, porque se trata de um problema real, e ao mesmo tempo o enredo apenas tratou de seguir em frente, e jogar um "isso não é problema meu!". Eu sei que se trata muito da pessoa que tem isso, aceitar que possuem, mas da forma que foi conduzida e mostrada, me faltou algo, uma abordagem melhor, uma sensibilidade, sei lá...

O final, que era o ponto que eu mais estava gostando da leitura, foi bem corrido e assim: eu realmente não gosto quando mais problemas são apresentados no final e do nada a autora resolve passar um "limpa, limpa" e seguir em frente sem realmente abordar, se é pra fazer assim então acho melhor nem introduzir o tópico.

Bem é isso, esse livro é uma mistura de jornada da protagonista com uma pegada de suspense, (BEM leve), e se você estiver procurando um assim, então talvez We Came Here to Forget possa entrar na sua TBR.
