Jaya e Colt se conheciam desde jovens , as mães eram melhores amigas , naturalmente se tornaram namorados . Mas Colt abandonou Jaya para servir seu pais . Ele foi com a intensão de ter um belo futuro para oferecer a Jaya , mas ele não informou a namorada de suas intenções . Claro que isso quebrou o coração de Jaya , afinal a bola de cristal dela não estava funcionando . Agora eles são adultos , Colte é CEO de uma empresa de segurança e Jaya uma ex-policial se recuperando de ferimentos na casa de sua mãe . As mães deles estão tramando para juntar os dois novamente , mas porque não fizeram antes ??? Um livro muito bobo , não recomendo.
