Izzy (Bleu) is training for the Golden Gloves championship, and his neighbor Mary (Palmer) is working hard with her Double Dutch team, who are also hoping to win a championship. But when one of Mary’s teammates leaves the team, they’re in trouble. At first, Izzy has no interest in Double Dutch, but eventually, he joins the team—on a temporary basis—and sneaks to the gym to practice early in the morning, away from prying eyes. In the end, he admits to his father that his real passion is Double Dutch, and he and the rest of Mary’s team go on to win the championship.
