It’s only when Maurice crosses paths with Sarah’s husband that he discovers the fallout of their duplicity—and it’s more unexpected than Maurice, Henry, or Sarah herself could have imagined.

que livro bom! uma história obsessiva, trágica e histérica. desde o começo é emocional e complexa, e só melhora ao ponto de uma loucura que te faz sentir o mesmo fanatismo das personagens.
a ideia do Deus onipotente e cruel, dele como um amante! me lembrou de “freedom is a length of hope, god wants you to hang yourself with it”.
livro fantástico e tenho certeza que vou pensar nele com frequência
