Esse livro é forte, poderoso e revolucionário. Uma autobiografia de uma ex-escravizada que lutou contra a escravidão até os últimos dias. O que aprendemos na escola sobre o tema (quando aprendemos) não é bastante, é preciso encarar os horrores da escravidão e conhecer a verdadeira história pra que ela não se repita.
