Joe Haldeman
Joe Haldeman William é um escritor norte-americano de ficção científica. Ele é mais conhecido por seu romance Guerra Sem Fim (The Forever War de 1974). Esse romance, e outros de seus trabalhos, incluindo The Hoax Hemingway (1991) e Forever Peace (1997), ganharam grandes prêmios da ficção científica literária, incluindo o Prêmio Hugo e Nebula Award. Haldeman desde 2012 é membro do Science Fiction Hall of Fame de autores vivos da ficção científica. Muitas das obras de Haldeman, incluindo seu romance de estréia, Guerra Sem Fim, foram inspirados pela sua experiência de servir na Guerra do Vietnã, onde foi ferido em combate, e por sua adaptação à vida civil depois de voltar para casa.
