O mais tocante deste volume foi a traição de Ranta, muitos podem questionar e dizer que ele fez isso para proteger Mary, mas... Foi desta maneira mesmo?? Ranta disse em um momento que Mary merecia sofrer por não ser grata a ele enquanto ela estava amarrada e com medo.
Refleti sobre as atitudes dele e tenho mais convicção que Ranta fez isso mais por si mesmo do que para salvar Mary.
