Fraco, bem fraco, beeeeeeeeem fraco

Se você é brasileiro e deu de cara com esse livro, admita, é porque você ama creepypastas. A sinopse dá a entender que se trata de uma antologia de contos de terror, apesar de ser muito longe disso. O livro é um romance que se enquadra num gênero que eu nem sabia existir, chamado horror comedy. Mistura comédia e um tanto de terror, apesar dessa obra em específica pouco te fazer rir e muito menos aterroriza. No máximo, vai soltar um arzinho do nariz e ficar parcialmente intrigado.

Existem ideias INCRIVEIS aqui, de verdade, como as cenas envolvendo os gnomos de jardim e o assalto do inicio do livro. Mas é isso. A obra propositalmente não desenvolve NADA pois quer que você leia os outros volumes e, francamente, isso torna ela bem fraca. O final, quando Jack conversa com o Dark God, tem um dialogo digno de vergonha alheia. Eu entendi o que eles quis fazer, mas honestamente, ficou muito fraco.

Diversas outras premissas são deixadas de lado, plots completamente aleatórios são simplesmente abandonados e algumas cenas se arrastam tanto que te faz questionar porque você ainda tá lendo um negócio desses.

Enfim, tinha um potencial enorme, mas ele é cortado pela vontade do autor de esticar a história em quatro diferentes volumes.
