Eu gostei da magia, e houve algumas reviravoltas legais. No entanto, os personagens principais levaram muito tempo para descobrir coisas que eram óbvias para o leitor, o que fez as coisas se arrastarem um pouco.

A Besta neste conto não é a que ruge, raivosa e obstinada que conhecemos (e amamos). O homem é bom e preocupado com todos sob seus cuidados. Ele não fez nada para merecer o feitiço que é lançado repetidamente sobre ele e seu povo.

"Belle" é tanto a beleza por quem o príncipe amaldiçoado se apaixona, quanto a feiticeira que lançou o feitiço maligno sobre ele.

Foi uma leitura bem agradável, apesar de conter uma cena de abuso no início da história, que pode desagradar algumas pessoas.
