Eu amei! Tô numa fase em que os livros começam a parecer mais do mesmo e peguei o livro de Olga Tokarczuk esperando algo novo e autêntico, a autora não decepciona.

Confesso que inicialmente a escrita é estranha e que a história parece não fluir, mas passando essa fase de adaptação comecei a apreciar o modo como Olga descreve a mudança das estações e a realidade hostil dos vilarejos da Polônia e seus habitantes.

Oportunidade de conhecer uma cultura diferente com temas relevantes e atuais. Maus tratos e defesa dos animais, desumanização social baseada na perpetuação de hábitos e questionamento sobre a influência da igreja, assim como preconceito baseado na idade e gênero.

O livro é rico em reflexões relevantes tendo como plano de fundo uma série de assassinatos e um suspense que não se baseia apenas no “quem matou?”. Enfim, leiam e decidam se o mesmo vale mesmo a pena...
