O mais fraco da série pra mim (até o momento)

Mesmo não sendo o melhor até agora, ainda assim foi uma boa experiência de leitura.

Nesse volume acompanhamos Jules, Helen, Carlos e os funcionários da padaria Torte quando Jules se envolve em mais uma investigação de assassinato em Ashland.

O que mais me prendeu a atenção nesse livro foram as relações interpessoais dos personagens e não o mistério em si. Até porque tive a impressão de que a investigação foi deixada de lado em vários momentos.

Apesar disso, a vibe aconchegante que Ellie Alexander consegue criar é perfeita, assim como nos outros. E é sempre muito interessante revisitar esses personagens e suas histórias individuais e uns com os outros.

Foi uma boa escolha para o final do ano por ser bem curto e fluido. E espero conseguir seguir para o próximo volume em breve. Já sinto falta dessas pessoas, da padaria e dessa cidade pequena no interior do Oregon…
