Interessante, mas...

O estilo de escrita é interessante e o enredo também. Entretanto, Graham Greene não conseguiu dar intensidade ao descrever as injustiças e atrocidades da ditadura haitiana. Nesse quesito, comparativamente, Isabel Allende é mais competente ao inserir a ditadura chilena em seus romances e tantos outros autores são mais eficazes quando descrevem as barbáries ocorridas durante a Segunda Guerra, por exemplo.
