febre e tulipas × amor e tulipas

Conheci o livro após assistir o filme "amor e tulipas" e algo sobre a trama insuportavelmente irresistível que envolve obras de arte, amor e tulipas (minhas favoritas) fez com que a história definitivamente se tornasse uma das minhas favoritas mesmo tendo lá seus defeitos. O romance se passa na Holanda do século 17, em que o comércio de tulipas está em sua plena ascensão...e declínio.
Acho que desde o começo, tudo tinha tudo pra dar errado. Simples assim. A esposa jovem e infeliz, o marido mais velho e com uma paixão que beira o sinistro.

A minha vontade, é de discutir um milhão de pontos sobre a obra e como é impressionante como a autora reflete o trágico, a fugacidade da beleza, da vida. Tudo isso, "dentro" do comércio de tulipas. Eu poderia discutir sobre isso por horas. Juro.
