Após menos de um ano de namoro, Dan pede Jeannie em casamento. Ela sempre sonhou em viver uma grande paixão, então deveria estar feliz com isso, certo? Mas não é bem assim...

No geral, não me conectei muito com a Jeannie, mas achei um bom livro, e gostei que a autora abordou a questão sobre as fábricas clandestinas de filhotes, onde os cachorrinhos sofrem muito mas, com a ajuda dos personagens, conseguem novos lares.
