Em "Bring me their Hearts", Sara Wolf conta a estória de Zera— uma soldada imortal pertencente à uma bruxa, sendo popularmente conhecida como uma "sem-coração". Ao receber a proposta de capturar o coração do Príncipe Herdeiro de Cavanos em troca do próprio, a mesma se encontrará em um impasse entre transformar outra pessoa em uma criatura sanguinária— ou permitir sua humanidade prevalecer poupando a vida daquele que ela aos poucos passará a se importar.

Em geral considerei-a uma leitura divertida e intrigante, que apesar de possuir um ritmo repetitivo em selecionados momentos, manteve-me focada em seu enredo peculiar ainda que familiar a outras fantasias já lidas por mim no passado. Necessitarei declarar que estou ansiosa para acompanhar o crescimento pessoal dos personagens desta obra, que apesar de divertidos poderiam ser mais prudentemente trabalhados considerando o extenso material existente na história. Contudo, é inegavelmente uma experiência produtiva que me agradou o suficiente para atiçar minha curiosidade em ler o livro seguinte.
