Esse livro foi sensacional, blew my mind, totally!
Eu queria muito conhecer mais o Cole e seu passado e caramba... Essa história me arrepiou muito!
Ian Ingram foi tão bem criado que literalmente era assustador estar na presença dele nas cenas. A forma como ele olhava me dava calafrios, a forma como ele falava me fazia entrar em alerta de perigo a todo o momento. A áurea em volta dele é tão sombria que sufoca! Ian realmente encanou o mal nesse livro, impressionante.
Confesso que os diálogos entre Ian e Cole no interrogatório me deixou totalmente vidrada, a forma como o Cole agia e raciocinava seu comportamento, como ambos estavam numa dança de persuasão, por poder, por submissão. Os diálogos eram tão bem trabalhados que você não conseguia parar de ler. Incrível.
A alternância entre passado e presente deixou esse livro melhor ainda, na minha visão! Tudo que eu mais queria era juntar as peças, entender o que aconteceu... E cada vez que eu presenciava o passado o livro se tornava mais obscuro e toda vez que eu voltava para o presente entendia o peso do que estava por vir e isso deixava tudo ainda mais desesperador!
Eu consegui sentir as dores do Cole profundamente, consegui ver o abismo crescendo dentro dele, senti a batalha interna por sobrevivência enquanto tentava derrubar a própria escuridão encarnada!
As cenas me impactaram demais, elas eram tão bem descritas que senti vivendo-as intensamente! Toda vez que eu tentava teorizar os acontecimentos, acaba surpreendida por algo inesperado! Foi uma grande montanha russa que valeu muuuito a pena!
Cole salvou o Noah no primeiro livro... E agora foi a vez do Noah fazer o mesmo!
Lutar por aquilo que você acredita e pelas pessoas que você ama e saber que mesmo no meio da escuridão você pode encontrar uma luz para te guiar!
