Que livro bom!!!!!

Não comecei a lê-lo com muita vontade, porém Huch tem uma escrita deliciosa (me lembrou Agatha Christie) e sabe como nos deixar interessados em uma história. Apesar de toda intriga política ser narrada através de troca de cartas ela não ficou chata ... ao contrário, ao irmos desvendando a história através de cada personagem, conseguimos ter vários ângulos do acontecimento tanto quanto conseguimos saber mais de cada um e seus pontos de vista diante os acontecimentos.
O pano de fundo (um clima pre-revolução) também fica inserido nas conversas e temos perspectivas distintas, ao mesmo tempo que aquela sensação de que o trem partiu e não vai parar antes do ponto final. Tanto na história quanto na estória.

Enfim, uma mulher com um entendimento geopolítico notável, excelente escritora (criativa e atenta) e que deixou um excelente legado.
Ricarda Huch recebeu prêmio Goethe em 1931 e esse livro foi escrito em 1910.
Recomendo muito.

Aliás, excelente trabalho da editora Carambaia nessa edição.
