Continuação do livro Eu Claudius Imperador. Nesse vol. Claudius conta a vida dele depois que assumiu como o Imperador e como foi seu governo, ele também conta a vida de Herodes Agripa e passagens da vida de algúns outros personagens. Como o imperador Nero.

Eu recomendo esse livro pra quem realmente ama ler sobre Império Romano. Por ser monólogo ele perde um pouco, mas não deixa em nenhum momento de ser bem escrito. Também foi esclarecedor porque Claudius descreve como era governado o oriente , e outros paises como Alemanha e França, todos sobre o dominio do Império Romano.
