Jack Smith is a FREAK
I hope that when I die, death feels like reading comedy romance books. Specifically rom-coms written by Aly Hazelwoodd.
Elsie is my least favorite character by Ali, but Jack nearly defeated Adam (he cauth me slipping ?). Why? I am a anti people-pleaser person. I cannot bear them! If I ever found out my friends and lovers build up a personality to please me I would literally throw hands and fall into a deep self reflection hole. Like? Do I even know them? Who is the person I truly love and like? OK, I am a bit intense, but Elsie bad mouthing masterpiece movies just crossed a line I never knew I had.
Nevertheless, her growth REALLY showed! I think it was a little bit hurried by the end of it, like 50+ pages would be really welcomed, but what is important is that Elsie would not be on my "people to never sit with" list.
Elsie is a good worker! I admire her hardworking because I could never stand any of those e-mails, I give the girl that! Plus, she's really funny in a weird way haha, I laughed out of embarrassment most of the time, but it was a good laugh!
The once of the book, overall, is good! Like I said, the end got a bit hurried. MY OPINION. I wanted to see more of them in good terms and just chilling. But I am really satisfied with what I read!
Jack Smith is a FREAK! I mean, you could sense this from their first interactions, but I truly gasped when the man showed his true colors! Love the dirty icon.
Ali has a pattern for men? Yes. But this time she really went a little off. Jack is sassy, he is funny and knows how to have fun. Not too serious, you know? But of course, at the same time, he carries that "Grey character, built like a double-door, gentle fierce man, really intelligent, would give all my eggs to, vibes" that we LOVE!
I really enjoyed this book, however, it took me a little perseverance to get past the first 100 pages, considering that every other book of her I read in the past was done in a 3 day range.
I give it a 4.5/5 ?? because Elsie baby really got on my nerves sometimes, all the other 4.5 stars were given to Jack Smith.
