Spensa a maioral!
?Você tem que escolher quem você é. Legados, lembranças do passado, podem nos ser muito úteis. Mas não podemos deixar que nos definam. Quando a herança se torna uma caixa, em vez de uma inspiração, é porque já foi longe demais.? Se fosse pra escolher um trecho que defina todo esse livro, com certeza seria esse.
Como primeiro contato com a escrita do Brandon, eu amei. O livro trás uma escrita super divertida, o começo achei um pouco arrastado (mas a maioria dos primeiros livros de séries são assim), ao decorrer dos capítulos vai se tornando super fluido e interessante. Amei a vibe top gun.
A evolução da Spensa é nítida, no começo temos uma jovem ingênua e imatura, com o desejo de se provar uma guerreira valente -tal qual as histórias contadas pela vozinha- a fim de limpar o legado deixado pelo pai. Aos poucos ela vai entendo que nem tudo é preto e branco, e vai se descobrindo. Todos os personagens secundários são incríveis, como uma boa fã de enemies to lovers, o Jorgen se tornou um dos meus preferidos, estou doida para mais interações desse possível casal, o M-Bot também roubou a cena. O livro só não é 5 estrelas por conta do comecinho arrastado e não se tornou o meu favorito, estou guardado esse lugar para os próximos.

Absurdamente bom
Incrível como vejo pouco as pessoas do ?booktwt? ou afins, quando essa é uma leitura fenomenal. Bem escrito, bem desenvolvido (óbvio, é Brandon Sanderson), rico e complexo. Spensa é incrível, um dos personagens mais complexos e sua evolução é gradual, lógica, nossa, é incrível. Eu não sou uma boa pessoa escrevendo resenhas, principalmente porque não gosto de dar spoiler e eu fui FELIZ em conhecer essa história sem saber absolutamente nada. Façam isso, vai ser bom. Só leiam.

Fraco até chegar nos 80%. Quase o livro inteiro sem ação nenhuma, mesmas coisas acontecendo, ela ia treinar, era humilhada, voltada pra caverna e conversava com o M-bot, all over again e ERA ISSO. Começou a ficar legal em 80% depois que ela descobriu do pai dela. Demorei dias pra ler até 80%, e quando chegou terminei em algumas horas. Provavelmente vou ler os próximos porque sou curiosa, mas esse livro foi bem cansativo!

Skyward Brandon Sanderson (resenha do livro em inglês)
Eu realmente amei este livro! A jornada de Spensa foi incrível, emocionante e muito bem escrita. Eu acho que o autor encontrou um bom equilíbrio entre humor, drama e cenas de batalha emocionantes. Este livro é muito bem ritmado e nunca é entediante, cheio de um elenco de bons personagens e um protagonista muito estranho, mas compreensível. Spensa é divertida, inteligente, persistente e muito corajosa. Eu acho que sua jornada no livro foi descobrir o que é realmente a coragem, e ela acaba neste livro uma pessoa muito diferente desde o começo.
As cenas de batalha foram ótimas, elas foram muito vívidas e cinematográficas, como todas as cenas de ação de Sanderson, mas desta vez com caças estelares! Minha parte favorita nos filmes e livros de Star Wars foram as batalhas X-Wing e Skyward me fez lembrar delas. Eu poderia imaginá-los todos muito bem em minha mente, principalmente devido à capacidade que o autor tem para escrever este tipo de cenas, foi realmente de tirar o fôlego.
Para um livro da YA, acho que a maioria dos personagens era bem desenvolvida, a princípio eles pareciam planos e superficiais, mas mais tarde, eles adquiriram alguma profundidade e você se tornou mais carinhoso deles. Isto é verdade para a maioria dos personagens secundários, mas especialmente para o Spensa. No começo, ela pode parecer uma garota cheia de bravatas vazias, mas ela tem uma luta interior muito poderosa. Ela prova ser determinada em seus objetivos, e esse é o tipo de protagonista que eu gosto. Seu tempo na escola de vôo com o resto de sua equipe é uma das minhas partes favoritas da história, e quando as coisas começam a ficar ruins você realmente sente por ela e seus amigos, e as coisas que aconteceram têm um enorme impacto nela. Há muitos momentos que realmente me tocaram neste livro, especialmente envolvendo sua família e seu pai.
M-Bot foi excelente! Ele era tão engraçado quanto muitas partes deste livro. Eu acho muito bom quando um autor me faz rir lendo um livro, mas ao mesmo tempo tem uma história com conflitos e apostas altas. A própria Spensa também foi muito engraçada, e o humor foi bem dosado ao longo do livro, tornando a experiência mais satisfatória como um todo. Doomslug é agora o melhor lesma da literatura! (há outra lesma em tudo?)
Há algumas reviravoltas e revelações, algumas delas foram muito boas e algumas não foram muito extraordinárias, mas no geral este livro tem uma história muito sólida. Há muitas coisas que eu preciso responder nas sequências, então o livro dois tem o potencial de ser ainda melhor. Estou ansioso pela Starsight no próximo ano! Este livro me fez lembrar por que essas histórias que lemos trazem um toque de alegria e esperança em nossas vidas.

o Brandon arrasa mesmo nos livros dele, ele foi feito pra escrever fantasia e estou apaixonada nisso aqui irei continuar com certeza
só não foi 4 pq ele teve um início lento mas quando pegou o jeito QUE F*DAAAA cada plot twist cada personagem bem escrito amei tudo

Ótima protagonista
Spensa é uma protagonista que levou algumas páginas para eu começar a gostar dela. Cheia de bravado e um tanto quanto arrogante...por mais que ela detestava o preconceito que sofria pelo histórico de sua família, ela estava sempre julgando os colegas pela primeira impressão que ela possuía deles. E ela deixava essa animosidade bem clara.
No entanto, a partir da metade do livro em diante, a personagem passou por uma clara evolução. Os desafios e perdas pelos quais Spensa passou a moldaram em uma verdadeira heroína. Eu devorei as últimas páginas! Fazia tempo que eu não lia uma história com uma protagonista feminina tão boa.
Recomendo esse livro a todos que estão em dúvida. Mal posso esperar para ler o restante da série.

Meu Deus, eu simplesmente enguli esse livro.
O autor cria um universo onde temos batalhas intergaláticas, naves e aliens.
A forma como os personagens são envolventes e te fazem se sentir dentro da história é incrível. No comecinho, eu confesso ter achado um pouco parado, até as reviravoltas começarem. Meu plano era marcar no skoob como estava sendo a minha experiência com o livro, mas eu simplesmente parei, porque a história não me deixava! Conforme vai progredindo a leitura, você fica com um gostinho de quere mais é mais, e quando vê, já leu o livro todo.

Estou surpresa com o quanto gostei de ler esse livro. Acho que me apaixonei pela leitura de novo. Enquanto estava lendo sabia que esse ia entrar pra lista de favoritos.
A escrita do Brandon Sanderson é fascinante aqui. Eu não conseguia parar de ler de tão curiosa a respeito desse universo e dos enigmas que ele trás. Acompanhar cada peça se encaixando até tudo fazer sentido foi uma experiência incrível.
Os personagens são extremamente cativantes e até a "vilã" se mostrou alguém que podemos entender e até mesmo nos identificar.
Os cadetes e as interações do grupo foram divertidas, os momentos de ação foram tensos e bem escritos, eu ficava na ansiedade desejando que nenhum se machucasse.
De verdade, adorei essa história ??

ADOREI ADOREI ADOREI
Finalmente, depois de começar e abandonar esse livro quatro vezes por causa da minha ressaca literária, eu consegui terminar!!!
E foi INCRÍVEL
É um livro básico se pensar nos outros livros do tio brandon, focado mais no mistério e não na construção de mundo. E tinha muitooo mais humor e um tom mais leve do que as outras história que li dele, e isso pra mim foi uma coisa boa pq não tava na vibe de ler algo complicado.
Resumindo, é um livro com personagens engraçados que te matam de rir enquanto tentam lutar contra naves alienígenas e uma protagonista que tá lutando pra provar que merece um lugar na tropa.
O mistério foi gostosinho de ler e achei a revelação final boa, mas não foi um dos melhores plottwists que o Brandon já escreveu.

Simplesmente incrível, perfeito e maravilhoso.

dava nada, recebi tudo
Fui ler só pra matar curiosidade e sai apaixonada e rendida pela história, doida pra conseguir ler os próximos livros!

Os personagens secundários são *chef kiss* maravilhosos, alguns plots foram previsíveis mas eram exatamente o que eu queria ler!

"Skyward" is narrated in first person by the protagonist Spensa, "Spin". In the prologue, the reader knows a little about the history of the planet. The book is set on a planet called Detritus, a planet shrouded in debris, where humans seek refuge in caves from alien attacks called Krell, who perform surprise attacks. Because of this, humans created the Challenging Defense Force (FDD), made up of the most talented pilots on the planet.

Among these pilots is Spensa's father, a source of family pride and inspiration for his daughter, who wants to follow her father's path and become the best pilot ever. Still in the prologue, the reader follows an epic battle against the Krell and Spensa has their world turned upside down as their father is considered a deserter, bringing shame to the family and ending the legacy before it even begins.

The story from there will be divided into five parts. In the first part, Spensa is already 17 years old and is known as the "daughter of a coward". Even suffering from the prejudice of others, the protagonist does not give up becoming a pilot and much less believes that her father abandoned the other pilots in the midst of the confrontation.

"My father's dream had come true. By defeating the Krell more than nine years earlier, those still inexperienced fighter pilots inspired a nation. Dozens of clans resolved to abandon their nomadic cultures and finally reunited, colonizing Igneous and the caves as they went. My clan was the Motorized, as we were descended from the crew that had worked in the engine room. we called them Challengers. A name taken from our original space. " (p. 20)

Spensa is at the age of deciding which career to pursue through the Test, a test that will see what skills she has and thus direct her to the role she will play for the rest of her life. But will the FDD willingly accept Spensa as a driver even if she passes the test?

If it depends on Judy Evans, the first citizen and the FDD commander, absolutely not. For Judy, they can't risk having a coward's daughter in training, but sometimes plans fail ...

In the second part of the book, the adventure really begins. Spensa starts training, but soon realizes that she is treated differently and will not achieve anything easily. His classmate group is quite varied: Kimmalyn, Bim, Hudiya, Freya, Nedd, Arturo and Jorgen, the son of a First Citizen and a pompous asshole. This eclectic group needs to become a united team under Mongrel, the class's teacher and coach.

Amidst the heavy training and the reality of imminent new Krell attacks, Spensa, as the synopsis explains, finds an ancient craft with artificial intelligence that challenges everything the protagonist has learned about her planet.

The book is a spectacular science fiction. We have battles, ship details, strategy lessons and more. But the work also focuses on the personal growth of the characters, the discussion about the impact of humans on the universe, and the way we use our resources.

Editora Planeta's minotaur seal has done a wonderful job in the layout, revision and layout of the edition. The book also has drawings of ships and flowcharts with details of certain parts of them, which greatly assists in visualizing battles.
