Devido a isto, me cansou a leitura até agr, triste aliás!
....
Cameroon and Rebecca "hate" each other since they were young, neighbors and their parents being friends, it was inevitable not to have contacts, but Cam always teased her and at the time I got it, this bad boy always liked her, but the line between love and hate is tenuous, correct?
I am writing with 68% of the story, because I have strong indications that I will stop here due to what in my opinion the story is going in circles, some things could indeed be developed but the author simply did not want to, she simply did not want to. Due to this, I was tired of reading until now, sad indeed!
But continuing my opinion valid until the present moment... The story at the beginning is captivating, Rebecca's family are cute until the present moment of my reading, the mother who can decipher dreams, but Becca doesn't remember for sure height of the books about the dreams that she has to tell her mother and put an end to this mystery that surrounds the story. The narrative brings us interesting themes that are the constant fear of being a woman, harassment in all areas of activity in our lives, the homophobia of some characters and religious prejudice, in fact the religious part was good, and it seemed to me it was the author's focus could have been exploring along with the secondary characters. And, speaking of secondary characters, how many characters, there are many people, there are many names, many bonds that sometimes I didn't even want to focus on because in the story of that moment it was not relevant at all, just a few lines, as I said earlier, running in circles. But overall, the author's writing is good, the story is interesting, but I can't stand the rambling. I stopped at 68% of the story, at the exact moment that Rebecca receives a text message asking her to go to the school parking lot to talk to a guy who I have my doubts, I would never go just by first impressions it already shows not to be a trustworthy person.
This is the first book, I went after to find out, there will be a third part of this book guys. A third of the same couple, I feel frustrated with this news.
