"He Burned for her." -> No one thought of Bridgerton? No, just me?
Guys, the development of this book in relation to Slightly Tempted is amazing, my God. I loved this book so much" I'm not sure which book I prefer, this one or Slightly Scandalous, but both are competing for the top!
Anyway, in this book we will see Alleyne's life in the two months after the Battle of Waterloo and he has lost his memory (thank god my baby didn't die). To begin with, I LOVE THE CHARACTERS. Seriously, they are all perfect and relate to each other in a wonderful way. When Alleyne wakes up after almost dying, he finds himself in a brothel with 4 prostitutes and Rachel (the future love of his life). However, these ladies find themselves in trouble, as a swindler has stolen all their money, and so they must find a way to get back to England and get their revenge.
Anyway, I honestly don't know what else to say about this book, only that I loved it and I really want to read Bewcastle's!
